GynaeHealthcare was conceived by two consultant gynaecologists, Christian Phillips and Tim Sayer. Both consultants have different and complementary areas of expertise in the field of gynaecology and women's health. GynaeHealthcare was formed to allow the consultants to share the resources of their individual practices in order to provide the highest quality medical and surgical care for women with a wide spectrum of gynaecological conditions. It is not a partnership but an affiliation for co-operation between the individual practices of the participating consultants.

Both consultants also work in the Gynaecology department at the Basingstoke and North Hampshire NHS Foundation Trust Hospital.

Patients referred to GynaeHealthcare, benefit from dedicated consultant care, offering a one-to-one, tailor made service from referral, through initial consultation, surgery and follow up services.

GynaeHealthcare consultants are based at the Hampshire Clinic BMI Hospital, Old Basing, which offers the highest quality in outpatient, pre-operative and post operative care.
